Video calls
Some things are faster said than typed. LMG Core includes video calling so you can talk through a mix, run a review, or just sync with your team — right where your work already lives.
Why calls live inside LMG Core
Section titled “Why calls live inside LMG Core”When the call is in the same place as the files, the conversation stays connected to the work:
- No app-switching. You’re already in LMG Core with the file open — start the call from there.
- Shared context. Everyone’s looking at the same library, the same versions, the same history.
- One less tool. No separate meeting link to find, schedule, or lose.
Getting the most from a call
Section titled “Getting the most from a call”- Have the files ready. Open the version you’re reviewing before you start, so the conversation flows.
- Decide, then record it. When the call ends, reflect the outcome in Geniviv — upload the agreed version, update access, or lock the final.
- Keep your team in the loop. Anyone who couldn’t join can catch up through the file’s activity history and notifications.
Calls and the rest of LMG Core
Section titled “Calls and the rest of LMG Core”Video calling is one more way LMG Core keeps collaboration in one home. The call gets everyone on the same page; Geniviv keeps the work itself organized, versioned, and shared once the call is over.
